A little newsletter that changes my attitude every week
On Tuesday mornings I receive without fail a little newsletter in my inbox. Succeeding in Business is the thoughts and brainchild of Eric Albertson. Through the newsletter I have watched his family suffer, his business grow and change, and perhaps most importantly watched an incremental change that has gone from good to great.
Learning to use Twitter
I mentioned a few days ago that I was adding a twitter feed directly to my site. And so I have been paying attention to the "conversation" as it is commonly coming to be called.
I have lots of learning to do about it. This morning I came across a great little post on a marketing blog that I follow that summarized and crystalized things that I had been noticing.
Why do you charge so much?
In a word - value. I provide quality. A recent customer said "You provide great service to your detriment."
This question takes lots of different frames. "There are lots of cheaper web designers around. Why shouldn't I hire them?" "You charge much more than most freelancers."
