Site address: Sugar Baby Products
This site looks pretty simple on the surface but sports both a blog and a retail store with shipping built in. Working with a project manager, writer, graphic artist as well as the owners brought this site to the world. Behind the scenes there is also a system to assist with the management of distribution and sales to larger vendors.

It started with a simple "I'm doing this site and I'm having some trouble with the theming and a couple of modules. Can you look at it?" Complicated sophisticated site that moves and pinwheels and is just gorgeous. Half way through the project, the psds for the site showed up. They didn't look very much like what we were working with. Incredibly complex permissions and roles to allow the association to communicate at a very complicated level. A rocky server move and the site went live.
Site address: UA516.org
Building this site for the Refrigeration Workers Local 516 took almost a year. it started out as a simple "take this brochure site and make it so we can edit ourselves." As they discovered the power of Drupal they added a job posting board, a calendar, a photo gallery, and a staff directory. The simple template we use for the site is an example of a design expanding to accommodate all the new ideas.
Site address: Morrow Marsh
This simple site was developed initially as a Wordpress site to replace a simple one page domain placeholder. In transferring the design to Drupal we maintained the simple admin interface in the backend. The move positions the site for the future with a much more robust foundation. The simple design is highly optimized for SEO as well as XHTML (Strict) valid.
Site address: Bond Industries
A great little manufacturing site with lots of potential to grow. This site started as a crash job for a trade show and then morphed into a larger portfolio and marketings site. This site also taught me a valuable lesson about templates. They are not created equal. "Template Monster" to be specific did not have a Drupal friendly site. I would rather start with a static html page than repeat that experience.

Though this site is not on my hosting, I built it with Drupal through Cpanel and ftp. Used to working on the backbone with shell to move files and compress and uncompress files, it slowed down construction and introduced some interesting challenges. The site development came to me through a system adminstrator/contractor. He supplied me with a psd from a graphic designer that I had worked with before. I worked out the functionality and created the Drupal template from the design.
Site address: Laughing boomer
The Laughing Boomer is a site designed to promote the speaking and writing interests of Mahara Sinclaire. Specializing in fun retirement and making sure that the financial expertise is well applied this simple site has a blog and a newsletter signup function.
Site address: CCLS Communications
Creating a larger than life impression - the CCLS site incorporates a lot of interesting work sample potential. The quotes module adds an interesting change to the site. Random quotes provide fun visual reminders on the site.

In one of those strange quirks of fate one of my first Drupal customers was Diana Ng. Better known around Surrey as the Labyrinth Lady, she needed a place to coordinate all the things that she was doing with Labyrinths. So part blog and part brochure pages she has used the site as a platform to showcase not only her efforts in building a labyrinth in Surrey but to highlight her facilitation skills and other matters.

As team leader with a WSI partnership first I rebuilt this site 2003. In the fall of 2005 I rebuilt the site - completely. And then in 2007 I built the site again - in Drupal - not substantially changing the site from its look and feel in the custom ASP system from the second rebuild but adding an incredible range of features.
